With no activity in the transfer window, Mauricio Pochettino’s side will look to bounce back from a disappointing display against Watford to reclaim their place as title hopefuls. Their inability to match their previous display at Old Trafford where they cruised to a 3-0 victory over Mourinho’s United left team coach Pochettino unhappy.

They will get another opportunity to respond to pundits claims of complacency when they come up against Liverpool. With the likes of Harry Kane leading the attack, Eriksen and an in-form Lucas Moura, they should be able to trouble the Liverpool defence who have so far let in only one goal this season.

Verdict

This is a very difficult game to predict, Liverpool are in great form at the moment and Spurs are a very good team. I am going to go with a Liverpool win here of 2-1, a draw was tempting but I think Liverpool will have too much for Spurs in this one.
