An Argentinian fan had committed suicide after the defeat of Argentina against Croatia by 0-3. The man known as Dinu Alex went on missing since the match was concluded late Thursday night. According to the police, he left a suicide note also where he clearly mentioned that he is going to end up his life. He was a hardcore fan of Argentinian striker Lionel Messi and the Argentinian team.

After an intense search operation carried away by the police and personals of Fire and emergency services, the body of the fan has been recovered near the bridge of Illikal at meenachil river at Kottayam in Kerala, India.

My considered opinion

I strongly believe that these kinds of acts and incidents can't happen without any proper analysis and Judgement. If we look into the entire scenario then we find that win and loss are always parts of a game. Every team who participates comes with a hope to win but that opposite side to this perception can't be neglected. We should always take up a losing game as a lesson and should try to learn from those defeats. Leaving the field is never an option and it will never be. so, on that positive note I request everyone to learn from our defeats and get ready to gear up for a greater win afterwards.
