Wild Harvested Chocolate - Jungle style

in #foodphotography7 years ago (edited)

One of the most wonderful local specialities here in Costa Rica is the handmade locally harvested chocolate. It is like no other chocolate I have ever eaten. It is so delicious and actually feels like it is doing you good. It has a sprinkling of chopped nuts, organic vanilla and sometimes ginger added. Wickedly enjoyable and a great energy boost. The wild harvested ingredients are all found locally which for me is the greatest gift.
Be sure to sample this delicacy if you come to Costa Rica.

Didn't get to try chocolate while i was there. Where is it ususlly grown? The recipie sounds scrumptous👍 i loooooved the coffee, avacados, mangos, grapefruit, tried cilantro for the first time and this yummy chees that was in a ball but you pulled it appart and it was very stringy. Though i think you are vegetatian so i don't think you've tried it!

The picture just make me wanna try some! Mmmmm 😁

It grows right here. The cocoa trees are everywhere.yes everything is good here food wise and the local goat cheese is amazing.

You would love it!

yeah... I love chocolate

wow, this organic chocolate is very tasty complete with beans on its part, everyone who visit the costa rika is sure to try that chocolate.

thanks yes it is popular with a lot of chocolate heads.

Namaste, does organic means all ingredients used are organic.
organic is now a days a buzz word, and there are many many duplicate brands, selling in the name of organic.

these ingredients are hand picked locally grown so yes this is as natural as it comes - you are right of course though and I should rephrase it as wild harvested from the jungle chocolate as that is what it is.Thanks very much for your advice xx
