Hello, dear Steemians! Hope everyone is doing great! Today I will be sharing my experience in making this dish. This is Pork Steak, just the Filipino version of it.

Just so everyone knows, I don't cook. I don't have kitchen talent, only dining talent. 🤣 I love washing the dishes though. 😁

Wonder how I managed cooking? Well, thanks to Del Monte Kitchenomics for the recipe. 😊

The original recipe says I need the following:

• 800g pork, loin or pork chop

For the marinade

• 1/3 cup crushed garlic
• 1/3 cup soy sauce
• 3 tbsp calamansi juice
• 1/4 tsp black pepper

• 1/3 cup oil, for frying
• 1/3 cup white onions, sliced into strips
• 1 can Del Monte Pineapple Tidbits, drained, use syrup for the marinade

But since I'll be cooking for many persons, I doubled the amount of ingredients. And I don't like porkchop, so I chose the sukiyaki cuts. ☺

So here it goes.

I marinated the pork overnight.

The next morning I drained it, and reserved the marinade.

Fried it.

Set it aside.

Then, using the same pan, I retain about 2 tablespoons of the oil I used for frying to sauté the onions. I added the marinade, bring it to boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

Lastly, I added the pork and the Del Monte Pineapple Tidbits. Simmer a bit and done!
