Hi! Today we are gonna talk about a traditional Japanese plate that we've got the pleasure to try for the first time yesterday night: the Ramen.
It was so many weeks that Eric talks me about Ramen because he saw a spot that have completely obsessed him, and I couldn't stand it anymore so I decided to satisfy his wish. By pure chance a friend of mine during a university lesson revealed me that there was a restaurant serving a dynamite Ramen near Garibaldi Station, not so far from our home. The opportunity was served, all I had to do was pick it.
Comin' back home I told Eric that I have a surprise for him and right after I said “this evening” and “Ramen” he get out of his mind at the point that when I arrived at home I found him outside waiting for me... or maybe for Ramen.
Go to the restaurant has been a real marathon but it really worth it. The place was really pretty and there was something magic in the atmosphere, it seems like, after having passed the door, as if we were thrown together into Japan.
In this picture you can see what we've ordered yesterday night; starting from the top there's the Eric's Ramen, compose by 7 spicy meat balls, oriental salad, Tropea's red onion, fresh hand made noodles and beaf broth. My plate was a starting: salmon in teriyaki sauce with a side of fresh algae. We were both excited and this fantastic experience was crowned by the degustation of a famous tradition Japanese dessert: the Raindrop cake.

Lastly we want to suggest to all the Ramen lovers this fantastic place that offers amazing tradition oriental food in a pretty nice familiar atmosphere, and the whole without spending too much!
With a full belly, we say goodbye and wish you a good evening!
