Breakfast:
Persian breakfast is the main course of the day. Depending on the day, cheese and ground walnut, butter and honey, halva, cheese and herbs and/or cucumber and tomatoes may be served with hot sizzling tea. The fresh baked break is a necessity that can be Barbari, Sangak, Taftun, or Lavash.
Lunch and dinner:
The most famous entrees are of course Persian Kabab that can be Chicken or Lamb/Beef Kabab. Another very famous dish is Ghorme Sabzi that is a type of stew full of a variety of herbs and meat chunks; absolutely delicious. Salad Shirazi is a must and Dough (sour yogurt drink) is local's favorite.
Make sure to try Aash, Persian Torshi Lite (Pickles), and Persian Dolme if you happen to visit a Persian restaurant.
