I made a banketstaaf today, I'm not sure if this is a thing outside of Holland, it's a pastry with marzipan inside.
It's normally not vegan because of the butter, so I made my own with a Moroccan touch;
My steps;
It's just puff pastry with marzipan and some almonds with cinnamon, orange blossom water and maple syrup.

sounds sweet and sticky but looks hearty and flakey. Is it sticky or flakey?
It's sweet, nog sticky tho! A bit flakey lol
