Factions of eXode - The Syndicate

Greetings pilots!

In this new series we are going to highlight the different factions active in the eXode universe. Our first contender is no lesser than the mighty Syndicate.

You might have already met their leader, The Kumicho. Today, we will take a look at some of their rank and file members and discuss what else the Syndicate can do for you.

The Syndicate Hacker is the perfect choice if you need a programmer that is not restricted by unnecessary boundaries like laws and morality. With most of mankind wiped out anyways, being a criminal does not have to be a bad thing after all.

The Camouflaged Sniper will be there for you in case you need that one high profile target taken out without causing much of a fuss. He has locked actions, so he won't help you much with your day to day business. Instead, he prefers to just hide and wait for that perfect moment to take out his target with a single, well aimed shot.

Now that you have met some of the Syndicate's highly trained professionals, we will take a look at what else they bring to the table.

This inconspicuous little chip is all it takes to turn any crew into a loyal member of the Syndicate. Have that highly competent administrator still clinging to the concept of law and order? Just insert this little chip and he will be down for everything. Also remember that The Kumicho is giving a bonus of +1 to the quality level of all Syndicate members. So as long as she is around, this chip will effectively increase the quality rating of any non-Syndicate character you use it on.

Talking of an increased quality, the Syndicate sure know how to make the most of their members. While a Syndicate affiliate would never use recreational drugs like the often sold Holidays, they are not opposed to the idea of taking some combat drugs every now and then. Swallowing N-Prime greatly increases combat proficiency at the small cost of making the user a little bit more prone to violence. Oh, and of course it's going to cause a slight Narcophilia, but that really should not be a problem as long as a steady supply of N-Prime is available...

Being the good people they are, the Syndicate has you covered there as well. Just bring a Narcotics Genefactory and you will never run out of N-Prime again. Well, at least as long as you find the right ingredients on your new homeworld, but how hard can that really be... ?

All you have to do to get in touch with your friendly Syndicate is sign a life time Contract with them over in the eXode shop. Once you have done that, you will be provided with 3 drops from their loot every week.
