RE: Salina Turda - A Day In The Coolest Subterranean Theme Park

Even within Cluj you have some nice places to take photos, but they aren't that well known.
For instance from the Belvedere, you can have a view of the whole city (especially at night).
Another one is on the Somes river trail

Hoia Forest: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoia_Forest From outside there is also: http://www.imperialtransilvania.com/read-more/argomenti/places-of-interest-1/articolo/the-blue-lagoon-of-aghiresu.html

I heard about Hoai forest, peeps told me not to bother so I skipped it.

You didn't miss too much, only, hmm... strange looking trees and stories with aliens. :) I'm glad you like Salina Turda, I go every time I get the chance, actually is good for your health o.O, elderly people get a discount to visit it few times a week. :D

Now tell me, did you take the elevator or the stairs? Hehe. xD

Hoia Forest
The Hoia Forest (Romanian: Pădurea Hoia; Hungarian: Hója-erdő) is a forest situated to the west of the city of Cluj-Napoca, near the open-air section of the Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania. The forest is used as a common recreation destination. In recent years a biking park has been added to the forest, along with areas for other sports such as paintball, airsoft and archery.
