The Opera web browser will be the first popular web browser to add built - in support for the Ethereum wallet.
The main task of the wallet is to provide users with "friendly and easy" access to decentralized applications. For example, playing CryptoKitties or using AirSwap will be even easier. Also, the wallet performs its main function — storing tokens. So far, the wallet has only a private beta version.

"We believe that today the Internet will become an interface to the decentralized network of tomorrow. With a built-in crypto wallet, the browser can resume and expand its important role as a tool to access information, make transactions online and manage online user identities in a way that gives them more control."- the statement says Opera.

The developers of the browser very much appreciate privacy, so this aspect was given special attention during the integration of cryptocurrency wallets.

"Privacy is a very important aspect for browsers in general, but especially for users of crypto wallets. Our goal was to create a user — managed crypto-wallet that provides advanced control and security of the keys that are used to manage the storage", - Opera specialists.

The wallet also supports support for new web applications (PWA), through which dApp developers can create web-dApps without having to build the wallet into the app itself.
In early July, it became known that the manufacturer of mining equipment Bitman intends to buy a large stake in Opera Ltd. The company is now preparing for an IPO, which should attract $ 115 million.
