McAfee who used to promote coins of the week and predict 500k USD by 1 BTC now starts endorsing ETH.
I know many hate him but i find the guy really funny also if you havent - check a movie about his life on Netflix. A really good flick!

When McAfee promotes specific coin, it will surely rise up. He has the power to pump certain coin everytime he endorses.
I use to follow him on twitter, but not anymore. Rather follow the actual accounts from founders of the coins I like

I agree with you! I was going to point the same thing about how used is ETH, which give it a great intrinsic value and how underrated is it right now. Maybe with the coming hard-fork it will start to become appreciated.

One who can afford to torch up his cigs with fiat can shill any crypto to spur interest.
Hell yes! When you are in desert, you have no use for the canisters but you need the water. On short term, the canisters are needed where you have plenty of water, and they are valuable only for those investing in water for the long run... Not many are investing in cryptos for the future!

I remember seeing a table comparing the performance of every "coin of the day" McAfee tweeted. 90%+ had a huge run up in the next days....although as this is becoming a more anticipated phenomenon, I expect it will not occur as dramatically in the future.
The problem with McAfee is he is really in that gray area.
He is well enough known that many people listen to him.
But, he also really doesn't have a following. (as in, he is not working on his image and doesn't have a channel somewhere)
So, calling him a shill... he really believes what he is shilling.
He also believes that he is a good source of information. Which, he is. He has at least read most of the crypto white papers. He has a good knowledge of what is computationally doable, and what will always be vaporware.
And, everything i have heard him say... is not wrong. It is often watered down to fit in a sound bite on TV, but at least he is saying it on TV.
I really hope the best for McAfee.
ETH is a very important coin. And if EOS does even half of that, it will be a great coin too.
I think ethereum is basically over. With other and better platforms coming, it will be tendered useless and worthless. The overpriced coins and tokens may be a thing of the past.
Did he forecast 500K by now, or by the end of 2019?
Nice post. I think Macaffe is totally right... So many apps are running under the ethereum Blockchain, I am a huge fan of ethereum and I don't understand people... I haven't been holding bitcoin for month because of high fees and low transaction. I did think things would have turn this way...

Everyone will think he is a joke but he is 100% dead right about this. ETH is the 2nd MOST important after bitcoin and without ETH the other alts are worthless

I think we will see ETH bounce back. They will all bounce back in my opinion. The reason I got into crypto is because I sincerely believe in it.
Eth is a great coin and it's adoption is very high. More so, it seems network issues has improved but funny enough the price decline is very high compared to BTH and some others . But I see Crypto's coming back strong in near future.
I hope ETH falls more,nothing better than cheap ETH! :)

Whether we like it or not, Mcaffee's one cute post about a certain coin can appreciate or depreciate the value, so better PM him to promote your long term coin for free! hopefully! :)
This guy has built a business on backing and fading coins. I agree with his obvious comment on ETH, but it's hard to take anything he say's serious when he keeps getting incentives to post about certain coins.
True, however, Steem will be much more fancy container for SMTs :-)
