A few years ago, in the institute where I worked towards a cultural activity in a square in my city, but there was a problem that was constantly repeated ...
PEOPLE DO NOT PLACE GARBAGE IN THE ENABLED BAGS.
Then those who were my bosses and my person made a pilot plan so that everyone who was there put the garbage in its place, and so the idea of placing litter bins (garbage cans) that were striking and that did not have that stigma was born. "the unpleasant smelly place".
Together with part of my team we designed and then we intervened some of the bins that were in a warehouse of the Mayor's Office, which had been removed from the city because they were obsolete, we gave it a #streetart style and it really was a success ...
NOT ONLY THE GARBAGE LEAVED THERE BUT THEY ALSO TAKEN PHOTOGRAPHS TO DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY WERE GOOD CITIZENS.
Sadly we did not manage to move forward with the project and take it to the whole city, since one of the main barriers to this was that each paper mill had to carry an immense logo of the mayor's office, and there the intervention would lose its essence.
We continue in the struggle to build a more aesthetic, more human, more cultured city and with the certainty that my eyes will see it.
