1 year ago (2017) we saw a real BOOM! in the crypto-currency market, Bitcoin reached $ 20,000 and our beloved STEEM almost hit $ 8.00
There was a big euphoria, a real race in which many thought that there would be no end, the desperation to buy bitcoin took over the market, this ended up being reflected in the market of other currencies and tokens that ended up benefiting greatly by the rise of prices.
Beginning January, prices fell freely and no one knew how much to stop, there were people who bet $ 5,000, $ 3,000 and others even saying that the price of bitcoin could reach 0.
This year the scenario is different, we had blood in the market practically all the year, sometimes we passed the "security margin" of 6,000 dollars.
On the other hand the crypto market has benefited a lot in projects, we are having a great added value due to new projects and companies with innovative ideas entering the market, from cryptobancos to developments of blockchain 3.0
I believe that this year is the year of development, we also had the news of the long awaited bitcoin ETF that ended up not resulting in anything at the moment.
Considering prices today we are in a stagnant market, as I said this year is about development, in the coming years we can expect great valuations in the market, but this year the chances of this happening are almost nil.
Do not invest what you can not lose! sometimes from scratch we can start a new price race, but we can also find ourselves in a new big fall that can cause prices to fall by half.
