Queen Elizabeth II has reportedly been hit “extremely hard” by the loss of her last corgi, according to an insider to the monarch. Willow, the 15-year-old dog who suffered from cancer-related illness, was put down at Windsor Castle on Sunday.
“She has mourned every one of her corgis over the years, but she has been more upset about Willow’s death than any of them… It is probably because Willow was the last link to her parents and a pastime that goes back to her own childhood. It really does feel like the end of an era,” a Buckingham Palace source told the Daily Mail.
In 2015, the Queen decided to stop breeding Pembroke Welsh corgis, a species she loves as she has raised more than 30 of it.
Communities need to feel that they can accommodate people. Rather than feeling that it's not possible to integrate and that the stress and strain on housing and public services is too great.
