Canada too is proving itself as a world leader in renewable energy. In 2015, 66% of the country’s energy demands were met by renewable sources of energy like wind, solar and biomass.
The largest renewable sources of electricity in Canada is hydro power.
It is not a coincindence if several of the provincial electric utulities has "hydro" in their names. For example "BC Hydro" or "Hydro Québec".
Yeah, Canada can really be a global leader in this regard. They are already half way there. They can show the world that countries can in fact be run completely on renewables.
