It should make accounts easier to create. It will make it much easier for me to bring people onto Steemit.
I can't count the number of times I've brought someone to the platform and they've given up before their first post.
This is one of my favorite changes. Easier sign-ups.

It's not hard to make account here. There is a competitor to steemit. There is way harder to make an account - you need to send SMS.

Not really....from what I understand it will be harder for people because when they come onto the platform their votes won't count for anything.....meaning it will be even harder for them to earn. At least that's the take I got from reading a article and comments from highly informed people on it...

When you sign up for the blockchain you're signing up for a STEEM account. Not a steemit account there is no such thing as a "steemit account"... doesn't matter which interface you use a STEEM account works on them all, even Dtube. I assume you know that but it may confuse people that have never even heard of steemit or have long since stopped using that interface.

Also for your friend there are a couple of paid systems to create an account. They are immediate. SteemMonsters even has a USD portal at the moment. Your friend does not need to wait until Sep25
#3 What happens with the Dust comment votes of the past those under .03? Anything?
The dust section on their blog didn't really make sense to me.
#4 You can use steempeak interface now and avoid having to wait for 20 seconds and you'll still avoid having to wait the 3 seconds in the future as well. (done with an automated queue)
#5 So are they creating new terminology with "Voting Mana" should we be changing our terminology. They really didn't give us any details on what voting mana means to them did they?

When I came in your upvote was still worth something. I like steemit but if more people come in our upvotes will lose more power and many may not see a benefit. I'm ok with a slow adoption. I want to gain as much SP as possible befor3 we go mainstream.
Don't quote me but from what I understand is that people who will create a new account after HF20 there votes will have no monetary value....it's something to do with that Mana part....I think. Here is a more detailed article with comments from major players who know what's going on....this guy short of skipped over the disappointing parts.

Need to get up to date with Steem... havent heard from the latest changes making much change to the rewards. I was hoping the rewards would be up given the price of steemit has been so down.
