If you're new to a vegan diet the idea of getting protein in your diet can be a difficult prospect but if you're trying to completely avoid any soy - it can seem impossible! Well, it's not, you just have to get some new ideas and that's exactly why I made this video! Hopefully this gives you plenty of non-soy related meal ideas to try out!

Very cool video. Have you experimented much with mushrooms as a staple part of a diet? A very versatile food!

Try blending mushrooms and soaked black beans in a food processor. Great for making patties for burgers or the base for dense dishes. Holds moisture pretty well too. No dry dishes!

Having some sort of soy daily, this video made me want to try going couple days on zero just to switch up stuff!

I couldn't possibly even contemplate going vegan, but the idea of soy free dishes for meat free days sounds good.

Love this and especially the fact that you included no soy! Soy can be just as dangerous as GMOs for some people such as myself. I am allergic to both soy and gluten foods, so to find someone who mentions soy free diets is a plus for me! I'm also a vegan and love finding new vegetarian recipes to cook!!
