I have to admit it does dissuade me. I'm not trying to take anything away from Jerry. He has worked hard and brought a lot to Steem, but the quality is not there on the music. I really respect that he doesnt care what I think though, and being bad at something doesn't mean you should stop. If anything do more. I'm not the best myself to be honest. Rewards would be nice, but I'd be happy with more views or any for that matter. lol
