This is the instrumental I created, then later used to make the song "The Weekend." My music sequencing method during the days of this build was systematic. I would construct bar by bar, so I didn't always know what my music would ultimately sound and feel like. When this beat was done, I felt like it was kicking and fun, yet deep. I decided to name it "Mr. Officer We're Having a Good Time" to say music is fun and should be tolerated by the authorities as a source of personal enjoyment.
