There are themes of dreams that are common to almost everyone. They are usually called universal themes. These themes are so commonly reported that it demonstrates how all people suffer from the same kinds of issues and that their subconscious will express them in the same way. You may find that you may have had the same theme in your dreams!!

1: Starting out lost in a dream

Wandering through unknown locations without direction or finding that you have no idea where you are or going are very common anxiety dreams being lost in your dream represents losing your direction in life, your bearings and self-purpose. It is very common for people who feel they are in a dead-end career or those who have no idea of the talents they have, a dream like this could indicate it is time to ask for guidance. Or find projects or hobbies that help you feel a sense of purpose.

2: Dreams of being chased

The nightmare of being chased, stalked, or threatened by someone you may or may not see can wake you up with a jolt. Some people call it "The Shadow" represents repressed memories and deep -seated fears. Some could have been carried over from childhood. Most people report they are running for their lives, trying to hide or seek help without success. The nightmare could be classified as a night terror if you wake up exhausted in a cold sweat or yelling out loud in your sleep. "The Shadow" remains because the memory or fear has not been identified, when you are finally able to turn around and face your fear will have conquered the subconscious grip of fear surrounding the unpleasant memories

3: Being naked in public

The most embarrassing moment in your life in which you see that you are naked. The dream is responding to a situation in which you felt exposed its possible you disclosed too much information without the realization that it would embarrass you later. Feeling uncomfortable in a social gathering such as talking to someone you are interested in or in a professional work situation, may bring on a naked dream if you felt you didn't make the best impression. Standing in your underwear represents that your identity has fallen apart and people can see right through you. Underwear represents the underlying attitudes and feelings you don't show to others very often.

I study Michael Sheridan's Method of Dream Interpretation and am relieved to agree with everything you wrote here! There is so much misinformation out there about dream interpretation, I appreciate seeing accurate information being spread. :)

I had a dream last night. I don't dream most nights (that I remember).
Here is what happened.

I was in a convenience store(gas station). I handed the cashier my items. One was a Monster Energy Drink (I don't drink in real life)- And another non-disclosed item(cant remember what it was). He rang me up I paid He handed me my bag. I turned away from the counter to leave. I realized I didn't have my Monster Energy Drink. I turned back to get it. It wasnt there. The cashier said "Its too late- once you turn to leave the item is the stores property again - I wish there was something I could do" I woke up super pissed!

Do you drink caffeine in real life?

Stores represent something we need or think we need. In this case, energy is clearly showing up.

This is a total mystery that everybody loves. The feeling of being chased in a dream is one of the worst things, I remember being a child and having always the same nightmare where a tree with a really creepy face star to chase me and grabbed both my foot with his brunches, it was the scariest thing ever to me.

That's scary!! Thanks for reading!!

Dreams represent our daily life Engagements..... It reflects our thinking and our environments....

There are MANY book of dreams, as some people are really into dream-reading. I have read some, some of them are quite interesting, some misleading and probably just fun. Some would tell about the spiritual world and the one "beyond".. Astral traveling much?! :)
But one thing is for sure - dreams can heal, as they actually tell you what's wrong with you. Dreams ARE personal, they are the interpretation of how you acknowledge the world around you and your feelings in relation to it.

I agree with this entirely! Michael Sheridan's Method of dream interpretation is what I study and I am thankful to have found such an accurate and healing resource.

The dreams I enjoyed the most, were the ones where I was flying and having intimate encounters. Don´t have to dream for this though :D
