Thanks Ivan

Thank you Ivan. This reminded me to update my ledger ...

Hi Ivan !

Now I really feel kinda old with my 22 years when I heard that. 😅

Must be very skilled 15 year old. 👍

Thanks for the updates.

Not sure that this ledger hack actually compromises the use case as you still need to gain physical access to the wallet. However this demonstrates that all systems can be hacked and that Ledger need to respond and fix this issue. Also illustrates your last point about crypto educating people as this was done by a 15 year old kid.

Thanks Ivan, good post.

Hardware wallets are not flawless. Im certain we will see more advanced "Vaults and Custodian services" in the future.

If anyone has written about vaults, maybe read a good review or a great overview, feel free to comment or link.

Keep up the good work, Ivan, I saw a lecture with you last year in Stockholm :)

Hi Ivan,

I posted a list of the most subscribed active cryptocurrency youtubers, Ivan on Tech ranked #7, keep up the great work, I expect you to be higher up the list next month,

Thank you

It really is a great show and I have loved watching it develop over the months. Smashcoin to the moon! (smash those likes guys)

I think that Ledger not putting any kind of seal on their box, and actually bragging about how secure it is regardless, is a cocky as hell?

It may come to bite them in the ass, and some of their users too.

I make sure to Upvote on Steemit AND go to YT to smash de likes.

Your Dlive Video is so beautiful and your posts are beautiful

Everything can be hacked. There is no such thing as perfect security. It's only degrees of difficulty.

Ledger is about as hard as it could get though (assuming it's not backdoored by design).
I think they use a different form of security, I'm not an expert....I'm busy trading at the moment but I think it's called Security Enclave....similar to what iDevices used and/or using.

But IMHO, I'm certain the real wizards/engineers that created these devices also have ways to go around the same security implementations they had implemented/selling. (Not that the engineers will steal your coins, a teenage wiz/genius hacker might 😂)

Morning from Nice, France.

thanks for the advice you provided, helped us to keep BTC from a very fun young hacker.

Dont think so these ledger wallets can hack.

Thank you for this important information it is very helpful and an eye opener

Nice video, like always good explanation.

Nice video. Very good coments for all the learners in blockchain

Are paper wallets not the "safest" wallet in terms of hackability etc ?

I love the news about the cryptosphere as being the "World's Toughest School". I have always affiliated this space as the 'Wild West' of 1800s. A realm where sovereignty is paramount, potential for prosperity is endless, and the land reigns lawless. Hell, we keep our fortunes in our boot so-to-speak. :)

You better believe the path was hard with major trials and tribulations to be had. But those that came out the other side were that much stronger, more resilient and experienced for it. From those endeavors came some of the greatest innovators of the 1800 and 1900s.

We are at the dawn of this distributed/blockchain revolution. Cryptocurrency being only 1 facet to a model which can be replicated in a variety of ways, and applied to a vast number of issues we face in current centralized societies.

Great article and great stream as always Ivan. Keep up the amazing work!

Great post.
