In a nutshell AntumID is an Open Source project based on Digibyte Digi-ID technology with support services. Open AntumID is the successor to the DigiByte Digi-ID for the integration part.

On 27th of August 2018 Antum started a collaboration with DigiByte and DigiByte Awareness Team (DGBAT) to integrate DigiByte Digi-ID within Open AntumID. This was done to provide Open AntumID with blockchain authentication. With this collaboration the "DigiByte Digi-ID" becomes "Open AntumID" the successor to the Digi-ID for the integration part.

The partnership between Antum, DigiByte and DigiByte Awareness Team (DGBAT) led to Antum being able to offer a complete open source solutions for governments and non-profit organizations.

Antum also provides full commercial solutions that are available to provide support, an annual cost and transaction costs depending on the purchased service.

They say

"Open AntumID" and "Open AntumID SOAP" will ensure that the integration of this technology can happen much faster.

"Open AntumID SOAP" can be used in various programming languages (incl. PHP, .NET, .NET CORE, JAVA, XCODE, etc.) and in most platforms where SOAP protocol is usable. This makes developing Windows, Linux, MAC OS and mobile applications less problematic.

On 28th of November 2018 "Open AntumID" was released to the public.

Antum included the DigiByte Digi-ID within the AntumID platform as a blockchain authentication tool and this authentication method is also used for all external services with their affiliated partners.

The AntumID is a "world (privacy) ID". On the basis of supplied identity data, which may or may not have been validated, these will be placed under a certain level of trust. A Belgian e-ID can thus be included to the highest level. The AntumID platform will ensure that one can share personal data with external partners, both in blockchain authentication and in existing backend synchronization applications.

Through this combination of both technologies, the authentication process is completely separated from the data exchange process, and the identity can be determined with certainty in the entire process.
