Honecker ist im Rostocker Hafen, dort liegen 3 Schiffe. Er fragt den Kapitän des ersten Schiffes:
Na Genosse, wo fahrt ihr hin und was habt ihr geladen?
Kapitän: Nach Afrika, Werkzeuge und Maschinen!
Honecker: Mit was kommt ihr zurück?
Kapitän: Mit Bananen.
Honecker: Sehr gut Genosse!
Er fragt den zweiten Kapitän: Wo fahrt ihr hin, Genosse?
Kapitän: Wir fahren nach Kuba und haben Waschmaschinen und Kühlschränke geladen.
Honecker: Mit was kommt ihr zurück?
Kapitän: Mit Apfelsinen.
Honecker: Das ist ausgezeichnet Genosse!
Nun fragt er den Kapitän des dritten Schiffes:
Wo fahrt ihr hin Genosse und was habt ihr geladen?
Kapitän: Wir fahren in die UDSSR und haben Bananen und Apfelsinen geladen.
Honecker: Mit was kommt ihr zurück?
Kapitän: Mit dem Zug
