Recently, as you've probably noticed, I've been posting a lot about DeepOnion, a new privacy oriented cryptocurrency. I'll continue that today by talking about the announced fee reduction for using DeepVault.
For those of you who do not know about DeepVault. This allows Onion users to store file validation credentials (hashes of files) within the DeepOnion blockchain. This allows users to verify a file's integrity any time. Therefore, if the hash of the file differs during verification, then the file has been altered or corrupted. This tool is extremely useful in detecting file corruption, checking if important legal documents have been tampered with, etc.
As of now, registering the file hash on the DeepOnion blockchain required a fee of 1 Onion. Earlier today as per announcement on the forum the fee will be reduced to 0.1 Onion. Yes, it will become 1 tenth of what it is now!!
A new wallet has been released. You can check the forum post here.
