It's been awhile since I had steamboat, mainly because i don't fancy the steam and don't fancy cooking food. Like you pay for food but you have to cook em. Hahaha, but anyway, this place really gave me the best steam impression and I'm definitely going to come back here!
First, I thought It was like any other ordinary steamboat restaurant with tables and chairs.... but when I got there. I was amazed. It was like a completely different world. Everything was very nicely decorated.

This isn't the entrance, and NO you can't climb up the ladder, but this is the decoration inside. On top of this open air spot, is a sampan (Malaysian Language for wooden boat).
Hahha, I just thought it's pretty random though to have a wooden boat above you but it's just really unique. I like.

This is the counter, where u pay your bills. It's like a small oriental hut and lots of fish plushies hung next to it.
Some Jade lion and vase deco, and a lady walking towards me shouting "Hot soup, Hot soup!!"

One thing about this place is that the service was really quick and awesome. They constantly made sure that we had enough to eat. Made sure that the plates are cleared so it wouldn't be blocking us. We were immediately shown to our tables as well. To my surprise, they had a wall of fame where photos of celebrities who've come here to dine hung on the wall.

Let the feast begin!!! Right in front of us was burning charcoal boiling a hot pork rib soup. That's the essence of the soup.
om nom nom nom. Really delicious and loved the soup.

Oh, and this is a special paste that you can concoct yourself up at the sauce table. There are instructions for their special recipe sauce. So i followed it.
1 spoon of toon oil
1 spoon of fermented soy
1 spoon of soy sauce
any amount of garlic
any amount of parsley
any amount of peanut
any amount of onion
And you dip your meat in this sauce and eat em. YUM~
Overall, I really enjoyed the ambience of this place, and definitely the good company. Thank you @joannewong and @aaronleang for introducing this place to me! Gonna come back here reallllyyy soon. :)

Mhahahaha I know when I walk into a place with something big hanging over me I squeal a little inside and hope for the best. xD

Hahaha!!! Pork rib soup is the best!!! It's the specialty there and the customize recipe sauce. :P

I totally dig Steamboat particularly on a cold night. It's nice way to enjoy a meal with loved ones without getting all greasy as all I need to do is just to dump everything into the pot and voila! The food is cooked! :D

Wow looks good @zord189. The secret paste that you have to make by mixing it yourself sounds interesting. Where is this place?? Looks like u had an early CNY reunion dinner! Is CNY that near already? Oh no!!!
