Overall, it doesn't really hurt currencies, the currency that was pumped today, stabilized at a 20% higher price then before. Also if you are talking about the people in the group or people who participate in it, it is 100% their risk.

I don't think you understand. The more volatile a currency is, the less people want to invest in it. Pumping and dumping hurts cryptocurrency over all.
It's not a 100% their risk, when you have already bought a position. It's fraud.
Im afraid I still dont understand, having a spike in a very small cryptocurrency and then stabilizing at the same or even higher price would almost effect no one who is invested in it for the long term. Im talking about the people participating in the dump as it is 100% their risk if they loose money. I see pump and dumps are using a small coin as a platform for people to make money. Most of these coins are shit coins anyway, with no new tech.
