My XIOS articles don't seem to be that popular among the Steemit crowd, but I know a lot of people are interested and finding me from search engines so I'll give people an update on my XIOS adventure. It's been great so far. I've made a lot of money with XIOS this week and I've been very impressed with the coin.
It actually spent some time at 0.00018000 BTC today so I sold half my stash and bought it back again at under 0.00009000, I initially bought most at around 0.00003000 so I'm "playing with house money" now with my initial investment paid back. Note: The daily high of 0.00092152 is where someone made an error and it's not the peak in the candle chart, be careful fat fingers! Also note that this exchange has an extra digit on the end, so don't let that confuse you if you use it.
As for a masternode, I'm afraid I wasn't successful because my I.S.P filters ports. So until I get a better connection; no masternode for me. :(
It was remarkably easy and fast to set up though by following this step-by-step guide:
https://github.com/ddude1/Xios/wiki/Xios-Masternode-Windows
Mine just didn't work.
In other news XIOS got a new exchange. It's now on :

And
But it's still yet to go on a big one. Personally I hope to see it on Nova next. A listing on Nova would probably bring with it another huge spike, but I don't think I'll try and flip half my stash again, not when I see big things for this coin long-term. Investing in new altcoins is a very risky but very profitable game, but most altcoins are shit quite frankly, they are usually crap ERC20 tokens or are coins built with generic tools and no skill. From the moment you open the XIOS wallet you can tell it's had work put into it, and the speed of transactions has to be witnessed to be believed. There was no premine, no ICO, no airdrop, just old school community mining. It's no longer profitable to use PoW but even without a masternode I've had a couple of small rewards.
After the eBTC shitshow where the developer closed his accounts, dumped the tokens and is now quietly selling a million eBTC to unsuspecting traders that he sent himself in airdrops, I was left a little disillusioned by new alts. Even though I came out of that mess with an extra 6 ETH I was left with my faith shaken in cryptos. So XIOS really has been a welcome turn of events. If you are going to invest in XIOS though, please realise that new alts are inherently risky. Don't put in any more than you can lose. However, in a field full of risky investments and scammers XIOS is the best prospect I've seen in a while and I'm very happy with it.
