Cryptocurrency news: Apple bans mining on its products!

Miners using Apple products in order to mine will need to find a different way to mine. There has been a major restriction put on the IOS store guidelines for Apple stating: “Apps may not mine for cryptocurrencies unless the processing performed off device.” This restriction only currently applies to Iphones and Ipads. The supposed reason for this ban is that mining can drain the battery, but this reason is obviously open to interpretation. The amount of mining power in an ipad or iphone isn’t as high as other devices, but this still may be an inconvenience for some miners.

In addition, the new policy states:
“Apps, including any third part advertisements displayed within them, may not run unrelated background processes, such as cryptocurrency mining.”
The new regulations continue and state that cryptocurrency apps “may not offer currency for completing tasks, such as downloading other apps, encouraging other users to download, posting to social networks.” Now Facebook and Google had already banned cryptocurrency ads this year (prior to this). It isn’t a complete loss for apple cryptocurrency users because Apple will continue to allow wallet apps.

Apple miners may have loss the chance to mine on their mobile devices, but they can still continue on other devices in order to continue mining. Are you an Apple user? How do you feel about these new regulations? Were you ever mining on your Apple device? How successful was it? Apple user or not, do you feel that Apple should have made these regulations? Tell us your thoughts and comments!
I strongly feel companies are thretened by mining which points to the fact that thier hardware is not adequeate to the expectecations of BASIC MINING.
