This project has promise but I have a feeling that Lunyr is super similar and has a better approach at the problem. Do you have any thoughts on this? Have you thought about including a small comparison on the project you are talking about and how it stacks up to the competition that might already be established? This could help a lot to your viewers since we could make a more informed decision when investing into these projects.

Wikibits looks incredible, i see massive potential with this platform. Lots of people will be able to benefit from this platform, similarly to steemit creators are rewarded to their contributions, an excellent way to initially bring people in and encourage users to share their thoughts/ideas. However Wikibits has some major competitors that are already established and trusted by users, it will be interesting to see how Wikibits can differ to those established.
Definitely going to be keeping my eye on this one

It will turn green. This is just the normal ebb and flow you would expect to see in the crypto currency market. Now is actually a great time to buy into a lot of these coins.
Agree that it will turn green. Not so sure this is "normal ebb and flow" though based on the news today. The market is easy to manipulate when it is this small (total market cap is much smaller than the market cap of just Google). I'm in but with my eyes open. Going to be an interesting ride. :-)
I agree with a lot of what you say. Just think though, it's not unrealistic for there to be a multi trillion dollar cap. The tech is in its infancy and were getting in on this fairly early. The potential is huge later down the road. I see awesome things a year down the road.
I agree with you! I think we might be saying the same thing... Until it is multi trillion, it will be a wild ride. I'm willing to take the ride but it will be bumpy while we get there. :-)

I still see this trend of people running to install block-chains on everything... not sure this needs to be on the block-chain. And even Lunyr seems like it could be done on normal web tech? I get it, it's to decentralise and not have to host in one place nor pay for servers etc. But why not just build it on something like substratum or some other internet decentralising coin's tech?

I believe it is too early to determine how much success this project will have. It sounds really good, but with Altcoins I look for utility, partnership, a strong community, and a least one reputable founder or adviser in the team.
Its a great idea but this is one I have to give time to look into and give some time.
I practice extreme dual diligence with this market. The more you research the better chance you have of making a responsible and sound decision. The fact that it is very volatile doesn't mean that one ought to make reckless decisions.
Very strong mentality to have in these markets. Too many just throw money on anything hoping for quick profits and those are the same people that are weak hands, when things dont go their way they pull out and start talking bad about crypto.

That's my concern with this one. Google is here, established and free.... Tough to compete with that.
And on top of that they have phones home devices and the like, not just the internet service.
Its a difficult area to get established in, highly competitive with competitors who are ready to throw large sums of money into innovation.
This. I mean with a lot of people trying to move away from google and to other company's it is a good space to try to come in to, but it will be hard.

Good to see you didn’t wake up dead from your cold Max. I love the idea behind wikibits and that people will be rewarded for information sharing. I can see it motivating large groups to self-educate in the future in order to contribute which is a step in the right direction for furthering society as a whole. However, I will have to keep an eye on this before I make any investments in the future as other companies are already very well established and easy to use such as Google. In the crypto space though I think its great and like Steemit helps build a community. Could take a while to get off the ground but 100% something to keep an eye on.
I like most projects that will decentralize Data. It's a natural resource that we create everyday. Taking ownership or at least getting paid for the value we provide is great. Those that know how to capitalize on this will do well i think.

This is interesting, but my question is why would people use wikibits instead of wikipedia? Wikipedia already as hundreds of millions of users, and what would make them switch to wikibits instead? Also the real question for us investers a year wait untill they start developing their blockchain? Will it be worth it to buy ico amd wait that long, what is the potential ROI
Being rewarded for sharing information is a strong pull for many. Its going to be interesting though, seeing as outside of the cryptospace it has alot of large, well established competition.
But will it make me WikiRich?

Great vid as always man. As you say, they have some well established players to contend with, like yahoo answers and quora, and my impression, from what I've seen so far is that they resemble these services more than Wikipedia... like an universal FAQ and help forum.

Not related to this coin but seeing as how Zach enjoys using hashflare for cloud mining, as do I. I stumbled upon an ICO by the name of Ice Rock Mining. Essentially they have an abandoned Soviet Bunker built inside of a mountain that they will be using to mine bitcoin due to the naturally colder temperature. Supposedly they have an entire different way of paying investors out monthly that is supposedly far more profitable than other mining sites such as hashflare or genesis mining. I was hoping you guys could check it out and give your opinion on it.
