I expect that crypto will be something like the internet.
in that.
no one expected it.
By the time the big boys (the big corps and their chaindogs...the goverments) noticed it...
it was too late.

It adheres to the principle of Dunbar's number.
Being behind the power curve for big (anything larger than Dunbar's number) organizations is inherent in their makeup. They can't help it , it's built in. Eventually things go to shit and they throw a temper tantrum.
Thank you for this high-quality post, @hilarski. I feel very optimistic about the future of cryptocurrencies. To me it’s synonym with the future of money on this planet. I choose to be involved: as a miner, investor, trader and evangelist. I think we all will be surprised by the scale and the pace of the cryptocurrencies’ adoption in the near future (3–5 years from now). Here’s to disruption! :D
That is exactly what I am talking about. The Western media will be so far behind that people in the west will fail to catch on before the prices rocket higher.
Nobody knows when, or how, but eventually I think cryptocurrency will be the inevitable future. Thought you might be interested in this video. Andreas Antonopoulos talks about infrastructure inversion and how it relates to bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
I don't know how you feel but this is the most exciting thing I have ever been involved in.
Great article! Wow! I share so many views in there and felt like something I have been thinking about lately a lot. We won't be prepared on the growth, I think its going to reach hights many have never expected it to sooner than later.
Let's just hope it won't be the case like solar energy and when they invented it and started building around it, but then kinda forgot about the tech cause they used the material to build bombs for world war, and that the block-chain technology can revolutionize the way we live and are through the most subtle and smooth conversion, just like exchanging coins on an exchange or getting rewarded here to post content. :)
Very nice Randy! keep up the great work. we are very fortunate to have you and Ana as part of the steem community.
Thank you Ric and we are proud to be here as well. You have definitely helped us feel welcomed.
How do we use the #BeyondBitcoin tag Ric? Where does it need to go?
The crypto killer app could be just around the corner. It may be arcade city
That is why I got involved. I don't like all of them but ARC and Steemit both spoke to me not literally of course. ; )
As you, I do not see how cryptocurrencies could not spread in a close future.

Exactly they are already way behind the power curve.

Wars and stuff.
Maybe tech will allow us to avoid that this time.

Like I said above, I believe it will be a tidal wave.
It is already ramping up in China,by next year it will be manic.

Could Russia be next to hop on & contribute to the bull run?

I will check it out. When the growth happens it will be like a tidal wave.
Yup, the next big thing always explodes... hehe. Resteemed.
Thank you! I can't wait to see where we will be in 10 years but I don't want to miss the rise and our participation.
Thanks Randy. Love the article. Buy now or get left behind.
Hey Bill! Glad to see you stopping by. Absolutely, thank you for being one of the people who lit the fire under my ass last year to get back involved.
That was a good read @hilarsky! Im with you 100% in that we are not very good at predicting the future :)
Hola Hermano!!
Yes, we are not very good at predicting 'me' !
We stink at it but I think we are pretty safe with this tech.
The question is for how long this tech will be safe?
This is a game of tech wars. We will always be two steps ahead as long as the internet works.
This is a BRILLIANT piece and thanks for sharing. Upvoted and shared on Twitter✔ for my followers to read. Stephen
