I scooped up about more Steem when it hit about $2.75 yesterday, as it has been weeks now of it touching around 2.60/2.75 and then surgin back up to over $3.00. I will be adding weekly for the foreseeable future. Imho, any buy under $3.00 is an INSANELY GOOD deal right now and I also think that for long-term holders, you will want to buy AS MUCH AS YOU can before it hits $5, because I think that the conditions are right for it to hit $20 during 2018.
2016 was the construction, buildup phase of Steem; 2017 users were on the ground floor of the grand opening once construction finished. 2018 is the year we are going to witness Steemit's full splendor in awe as it reaches a top-10 Market Cap spot again, a place it rightfully deserves due to it's loyal following, it's popularity, it's winning business model, and it's coming SMT Innovation, which will likely make the price FLY. Early 2018 we are going to start to see acceleration in growth for it; this is just the beginning.
Do your own research and don't consider my word the final word, as it is just the opinion of someone who has been watching Steemit DILIGENTLY and has built a company around it during 2017. Definitely possible (but will require bitcoin to not dip at the same time)! I'm going from USD to BTC and immediately into Steem, so I'm just paying the 2.60-2.75 USD region. But that would be a hell of a bargain if it does dip to .000127 BTC (which is what I'm assuming you mean). :)

haha The power of whales; if they don't want to give you a piece of the pie, you don't get it. I plan to keep making more and more purely with numbers. If enough people follow and upvote, anyone can make a lot, so the key is to just keep Steeming on! :)
there are other benefits to a lot of followers though outside of potential for more votes and, thus, more SBD. The ability to reach more people has helped me in growing GainingSteem.Com and has helped in furthering GainingSteem.Com's ICO for Booleancoin. A lot of orders have come from people seeing us on Steemit (EBay as well). :)
I really need to get on the steem train badly! Only own Ripple and cardano right now but need to add to my portfolio with some steem... I do also believe that it will exceed 5$ given how much it has gone up in the past year.
