When a person has no brains ... Cyprus, Larnaca

When a person has no brains, the result of this may be this:

The other day, somebody of the residents living near the salt lake decided to get rid of mosquitoes by burning dry grass.
Arsonists thought that burning reeds would reduce the number of mosquitoes.
All this happened in a protected forest area.
As a result, 10 hectares of the territory burned !!!!!
11 fire engines and one helicopter were used to extinguish the fire.
This is exactly the place where my friend and I, with her children, love walking.
The Environmental Protection Department said they were very upset by the fire in Larnaca Salt Lake, as this is a Natura 2000 protected area.
And it's all????!!!!!
But what about the search for arsonists and their further punishment?
After all, nothing was said in the press about this, or at least a warning to the population about the responsibility for arsons !!!
