One question everyone has probably asked themselves.
Today, however, it isn't about philosophy but all about music instead.
Yup, Music is King. Queen too.
I've been into a heated argument if this is a good singing. I believe it is. Everything unique is good, in a way.
Hearing that voice takes seconds to recognize.
Of course, Röyksopp!
Now, intentionally I am starting with the live version, as studio versions are too polished and sometimes so sweet that the sweetness is becoming sore... and we can't hear those small imperfections that make it real.

Still, I have to share the studio original version as a reference.

Her singing, is it touching you?
There are multiple covers of this visionally piece, I'd say. Let me start with this old-digital feel cover. "The Emperor Machine Vocal Version"

Last but not least, I am not surprised at all that Trentemoller remixed it close to perfection. Is this the cherry on top of the cake?

Never heard of it. I like her voice but the music? Not so much, it ain't my thing. 😅
Now, to get back to what I was listening to:
True, the music is.... strange, bizarre, I'd say and not ordinary, that's why I decided to share it, I don't post about music often :)))
That piece you shared, what style's that? I hear some folk motives with the violins, the singer voice is rich and sexy :) Broad too, singing so high pitches than low ones. Talented one for sure.
Thanks for stopping by, mate ;)
That's a good question. The band described itself as Dark Cabaret / Gothic Poetry / Orchestral Rock... whatever that might be.
Probably a combination of words, I wouldn't imagine seeing together anywhere but it actually makes sense :)))
Thanks :)
