Today's topic is a lack of topic. Do you ever notice how people just talk without ever having anything to say? I'm doing it right now! Blah blah blah...
A few people leave well worded responses and I think it great but no one seems to want to spark a conversation with one another. Maybe that can be something that kinda changes? I don't know how we could change the rules because the format it is at now just makes it easy to find winners like adding atleast 2 replies to the rules would make it a little bit tougher on people and on the system in general.
That is a good idea actually. I do want to spark conversation that is one of the goals of the contest.
Sadly no one seems to spark from what I've seen. I think in the next few contest I'll try and talk to others.

Everyone seem to bemore interested in what he/she has to say either based on the question askked for the day or just a random comment to make entry for the giveaway.
That is very true sadly but i'm not sure if that should be addressed by changing the rules to answer the questions.

I like the idea of sparking conversation. It can be challenging as we do not want to touch on topics that anger people. That is a different kind of conversation... We do not all have the same sports teams or competition in common as we come from all over the world. I know Americans have what they call a 'World Series' in some sport but the rest of the world does not know about it...

I could provide topics I kinda wish my last one was used when there was no topic either. I think it could have been a good discussion. But a change in pace so we can get perspective around the world on this. Technology and the way it has seemed to affected daily lives. Do you think it has been more helpful or harmful to the human race as a hole?
To be honest, writing about a certain topic in a comment post made me feel kind of lazy. It would actually be nice if someoen made a community where they gave a topic if a certaint hing everyday and we would make a post about it.
That would be an interesting idea and the the person with the voting power would vote on which post were the best for the day regarding the topic.
I would say more helpful, but it is a double edged sword. Technology can create bigger bombs or better pre-natal care. It is a neutral force.
Its a double edge sword for mostly anything. We can sit down in front of a TV all day or a computer but then there are other machines to help us work out. Possibly its just time management but the problem is people still want to do whats easiest.
