Hey Ed, you were wondering why you can't see the stars in videos shot in space. I'll answer you with another question: can you see the stars on Earth if I shine a flashlight in front of you? The light source they use to shoot space walks, or light the dummy in the Roadster so the camera array can capture it, overpowers the more distant and dimmer stars. If you've ever been in a city then would notice the difference in observing the night sky with light pollution over stargazing in a rural area.
