New Phase of 120 FPS gameplay with Xbox

in #console4 years ago

Not long ago, hardcore gamers were always striving to play their favorite games and achieve Frame rate of 60. This number now seems to be history now because we can now experience new LEDS and monitors with 144hz screen refresh rate and games are being developed with far more advanced graphics.

New model of Xbox console is being launched and it is going to support 120FPS. There is something more to this. This new model is going to further support backward compatibility and it means you can play your old favorite games with higher frame rate which were limited to only 60 FPS.

The same thing goes with resolution, you can enjoy older games with whooping 4k resolution. I must say that 4k gaming is whole new world in itself and so addictive.

All of this will be done with the enhancement of HDR, so original quality of game will not be lost. These new console are gaining more speed by ditching old method of storage which was hard drive with mechanical parts. SSDs have solved this bottleneck of speed and now almost every component is fast enough to give you more immersive gaming experience.

This is just a start and I can imagine that minimum requirement will further increase in coming years for coming because of VR.
