I found this watercraft in New London, CT opposite the train station back in April (2017-04-17 to be exact). I have no idea what this is used for, but I suspect it may be a hovercraft of some sort. I'm confused as to why it appears to have New York registration, yet was parked in Connecticut when I saw it.
Somehow, I want to believe that this is some sort of school bus - because riding to school on a hovercraft would be so totally cool.

It turns out that this is a hovercraft, but it is not a cool water-based school bus as I first thought :(
