¿Qué pasa para mayo?
InSight, nuestra primera misión para explorar el profundo interior de Marte, se lanza el 5 de mayo con una ventana de lanzamiento que comienza a las 7:05 a.m. EDT y dura dos horas. Algunos afortunados espectadores en el centro y sur de California e incluso partes de la costa mexicana del Pacífico tendrán la oportunidad de ver el lanzamiento de la nave espacial con sus ojos sin ayuda y su destino, Marte, al mismo tiempo.
Marte brilla un poco más brillante que el mes pasado, ya que se acerca a la oposición el 27 de julio. Es entonces cuando Marte y el Sol estarán en lados opuestos de la Tierra. ¡Este será el acercamiento más cercano de Marte a la Tierra desde 2003!
