First of all: I read the messages but it takes me time to connect to the internet. My connection is very slow and unstable, which means it takes me sometimes hours to load a post.
Secondly: Merry Christmas to you too. Interesting about the empty sit, I just wonder why someone has to knock on the door, why not inviting someone yourself? (Just wrote an article about that in Dutch, I saw all those people with their shopping cars filled with so much food not willing to give a handicapped young man even a friendly word. If it comes to it we do not like "strangers" to join us at all).
We do not really celebrate it, there is no money to buy a special dinner or do extra stuff and if it comes to it (the youngest) kids first. So 2 simple meals for them and tea to keep warm, pajamas on and watching movies (video tape and Dvd we have no television). They are satisfied with it, especially after the hard years we had.
I will try to help out, but I simply do not know how (it all works).
I do not know how to give Steem or Steemdollar or SBD, what is the difference and what "a vouch" is. How to do it.
The only reason I can post here and respond is thanks to @onnovocks and you @crypto.piotr and with the help @mariannewest gave me.
I do not really care if I am out of Steem or whatever, since I was for the biggest part of this year and if I feel well I still can blog somewhere else too. I noticed they are all bigger as I am, so if there is more I can do as: resteeming/sharing, upvoting, following all of them, commenting, and spread the word you can be trust, please let me know in babysteps.
P.s. If it comes to the Western World. The USA was bankrupt years ago, Greece is for sale (those rich Greek families are not willing to save their own country), but Greece is not lost since the EU will pay and they keep printing extra euro too. I think the problem in Venezuela is way bigger if it comes to it.
Perhaps the world/countries should make a restart just like after the 2nd World War?
P.p.s. At the end of the year I will be probably not able to be on the internet for 4-5 days.

The best way to celebrate is to do something kind and generous for those who need it. It is in giving that we receive grander rewards.
As for the USA, it's clear that the country has been bankrupt for years. Printing trillions of dollars amounts to nothing more than "extend and pretend."
But soon, the time will come when it can no longer pretend that it has a vibrant economy, that it is rich, or that it is the beacon of democracy to the world. And a "restart" is inevitable.
Happy New Year.
I think many countries are bankrupt although I wonder if this is possible at all. I am sure the USA will make it just like many other countries, one way or the other, it's time to change.
I did and do a lot of kind and generous things for other people, but it seems to me it is hard for most people to do so. Might be there is more to lose for them as there is for me.
We are simply happy we are still alive and partly together even if it is in a cold house and it is freezing outside. If we give away our cup of tea we still have water.
I wish you a merry Christmas and happy New Year too!

hi @majes.tytyty
I wonder how this restart means? Many people keep saying that it means war. But I somehow cannot grasp how war is restarting debts?

Piotr
A restart does not have to involve war. But as economies collapse, only very likely result is war. It's happened over and over again.
As for the actual "restart," I'm just saying that the system of predatory, winner-take-all, Heads-I-win-Tails-you-lose capitalism needs to be ended. And that it will end, and a new system will take its place.
Dear @wakeupkitty
I believe it all came down to idea of helping someone who doesnt have anywhere else to go. To show emphaty to stranger in need.
But those were different times. Now it doesnt seem to be safe to be so generous.
Would you mind telling me where are you from @wakeupkitty ? Holland?
I could never understand how War reset debts. Could you please help me out with this one?
Yours
Piotr
I wish I could tell you where I am from. Born in the north part, lived in the east and west part and now back in the east part of Holland.
After the 2nd World War we all (well in Holland we did) started new at zero. There were no savings and no debts. Everybody was given a certain amount and had to start all over again. With making money, saving etc.
You are right, it might be not that save any longer to open the door for strangers, same with hitch hiking. Life is getting more difficult to think twice or more before you can give a hand or invite someone.
