Young men like John D Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, JP Morgan were able to totally transform key sectors of the economy from seemingly small ideas into the big coporations we now have today in America.
The series shows how Vanderbilt sold all his ships to invest in rail that connected America
Vanderbilt goes ahead to partner with John D Rockefeller who created the company standard oil. Rockefeller is able to light various homes using his pure kerosine.
Andrew Carnegie is Tom Scotts protege who later goes big into steel and becomes the richest after selling to JP Morgan.
