The Kozja Cuprija is located in the channel of the Miljacka River a few kilometers east of the old center of Sarajevo. The road overflowing the river is the famous Carigrad Drum, the path to which, during the Ottoman rule, from Sarajevo went towards the eastern parts of the Empire, all the way to Constantinople.
