Wow. Your friend is strength itself. I can't be more proud of her as woman who has crossed paths with breast cancer.
I lost my mum some 18 years ago to breast cancer (as shared here https://steemit.com/life/@tezmel/what-i-am-made-of) and it still hurt while writing about it... You did great :) Bless your heart!
