REVIEW: Justice League THE FLASHPOINT Paradox

in #blog6 years ago (edited)

Hello friends, today I wanted to change the subject to talk about one of the best animated movies of DC, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox that deals with how flash comes to an alternate world that apparently was caused by a change in the past that caused a butterfly effect and led to many of the characters we know are very different in this world, also this movie marks the beginning of a Universe of Films that I will be watching to make their respective posts.

"Accept the things you cannot change, have the courage to change the things you can, and have the wisdom to know the difference."

Thus begins the film, Barry's mother tells him a phrase that will no doubt be the one that will mark his destiny. Today Barry blames himself for his mother's death and thinks he should have done something when he was just a kid. Some villains attack the Flash Museum, among which are Boomerang and Capitan Frio and others, then flash comes and gets caught by them, and when he thought he would have no more problem he discovers that Zoom is behind it all.

The Justice League appears to help him, they manage to stop the explosion of a bomb each in their own way, in short, the important thing about this event is when they are taking Zoom, because Zoom tells him that no matter how hard he runs he can't save everyone, not those who really matter to him, this leaves the flash very thoughtful and decides to run.

This is where the interesting thing begins, flash wakes up at work without realizing that he is in a very different world from his own and it is when he sees his mother alive that he realizes that something is not right, as the film progresses he will be presenting us with this world and we will see that flash no longer has its powers, there is no league of justice, Batman now is not Bruce Wayne and is not friendly at all, Cyborg serves the government, the Atlanteans and the Amazons have a war that is destroying the world and superman... Well, you have to see it.

This movie is very, very violent I would say that even if it borders on the gore, you will see many iconic characters die in very bloody ways, while you can see from beheadings to shots in the skull, no doubt this movie is not afraid of violence and could be perfectly R class but strangely PG-13. This movie even manages to improve the comic and not get lost in the details, all the conflicts that are generated are very interesting and every moment is full of action and the soundtrack is very good, the fight between zoom and flash is very epic.

This movie is highly recommended for all those who like these characters or have some knowledge about this universe, following the chronology of these movies my next post will be about Justice League War.

Sort:

I saw that one last year on TV and had to buy it on demand just to rewatch it. Very good DC animated movie. I didn't have the opportunity to read the comics however.

Are you looking forward to the DC stream service coming out soon? cheers

Yes i wait! But with a lot of intrigue especially for the Titans series

me too - lots of good material in that series...it would be hard to screw it up
