Welcome back to TBIS Weekly! Consensus 2018 is on our minds and we have heard our community ask for more information. This week, we will detail the team’s thoughts on the conferences role in the Blockchain revolution. We’re giving our social media a facelift, read on to find our specifics and, as always, Community Voice has some great questions.
Consensus 2018
Richard Silver - COO: "The most interesting moment came during a panel from the Regulatory Representatives from the SEC, DOJ and CFTC, where they discussed the state of regulation of Cryptocurrency. Though there's still work to be done, there appears to be an overlap in what their organizations do and a confusion between the implementation of new, or the re-purposing of existing regulation, it was encouraging to hear a desire to work with the companies coming straight from the source."
Martha Breed - CCO: “The highlight for me was the World Blocktails event we co-hosted with Blockchain World Conference which was attended by around 70 guests, despite the torrential rain. For over 2 hours, Dan, Richard and I got a chance to interact with different members of the blockchain community and talk shop. Although I can't speak specifically about the names of some attendees and their projects, I can tell you that it was very productive and I look forward to following up with new and existing contacts over the coming weeks.”

Great panels on transactional performance, scalability, peer-to-peer networks, persistent storage, key management and much, much more. This was a great place to meet the principles of some of the tech resources TBIS is partnering with and seeing the technology first hand. We also got some great ideas that will accelerate our development and increase our involvement with the blockchain tech community.”
Our collaborative Telegram chat and Twitter account (@ChainUnited) has grown quickly, gaining over 1500 members over the past week! Due to the influx of crypto brains, we are changing the focus to cryptocurrency discussion. Fan art will always be welcome there, as well as friendly discussion.

Social Strategy:
From Social Media Director, Tobiasz Tomczak: “Titanium is reorganizing social media platforms. We consider Twitter and our Announcement Channel on Telegram (@TBISINC) to be spaces for important, up to date, and need to know information. Thus, we intend to keep these two channels free for this purpose. On the other hand, we want to have more fun with our Instagram and Facebook community groups. To this end, please visit official Titanium Instagram and Facebook groups for information and photos on team activities, contests, etc.”
As always, links to our social media and telegram communities may be found at the end of the publication after “Community Voice”. We hope you enjoy them all.
Q: How many Devs are currently working for Titanium?
A: 9 currently with 5 more coming onboard in the next few weeks.
Daniel Bereczki, Chief Technology Officer
Q: From a creative standpoint, how does your Facebook group differ from other crypto communities?
A: Here at Titanium we believe more in community-driven activities and want to continually show that by hosting future competitions, much like our recent one regarding #BlockchainUnited. We also believe our staff interaction and response time helps us differ from other groups as we are very hands on with the community.
Tobiasz Tomczak, Director of Social Media
Q: When will the website be completely finished?
A: The website is updated regularly. We are working towards hosting it on our PaaS by the end of this year and I expect it to receive regular updates after that transition as well.
Richard Silver, Chief Operating Officer
Currently on the website agenda is updating certain whitepaper areas and building a new section to showcase our partners in their respective tiers.
Hannes De Beer, Creative Director
Q: Now that HitBTC has finally distributed TBAR, what will you be concentrating on moving forward, and do you plan on d-listing TBAR from HitBTC?
A: At this time we do not intend to ask HitBTC delist TBAR token, however we will continue to working with HitBTC toward delist BAR token, which no longer has value in our ecosystem.
Martha Breed, Chief Communications Officer
Q: Will titanium consider on VORDEX pairing TBAR with fiat?
A: It’s something we have spoken of and will likely do, yes.
