Originally, it is a good market! The miners travel far to build mines and buy mining hardwares to bring out coins, so as to get more rewards.
Later, there were more exchanges, and many people came to speculate on the currency, making the funds more centralized in the market. Miners make a profit and those who speculate on the currency also make large-dollar.
Then a bunch of people come out to do ICO. What you have to do is to ignore them instead of rushing to hand over your BTC \ETH to them, which creat an incentive for more people to get into the market. An optional bunch of people can pull up the plate to a high point to cash out their own tokens and BTC\ ETH. Now they are setting luxury houses and yachts abroad.
How about you? What you can do is just holding on to your tokens and then find them valueless in the end.
Assuming that no one participated in the ICO at first and there were only a few large currencies, will the market runs as it is now ?
I think it will not, at least the price of coins will not be like this!

very thanks.
really enjoyed this information and learn a lot.
Have a lovely day.
Nicely written! You have big heart!
Blockchain definitely has a bright future. Cryptocurrencies aswell, eventhough the first bubble may have bursted, the price will raise again. Maybe not as sharply as it did, but in a more sustainable and healthy growth.
I think some cryptos will fail. I'm bullish on Steem long term though.
Steem needs to develop some ecommerce applications though. You should be able to buy stuff with steem to make it a proper economy - but we appear to be far away from that at the moment.
