Utrust wants to solve all of the problems that new businesses or merchants would have if they started to accept crypto payments at their store. Utrust aims to be the world’s first cryptocurrency payment solution to offer instant transactions, buyer protection & crypto-to-cash settlements. Utrust plans to solve the volatility issue when a customer pays in Bitcoin for example, and the market dips and the value of the payment is no longer the same. When using Utrust you will receive instant transactions that will allow for the Bitcoin that your customer paid with to be converted to cash instantly, preventing any previous volatility issues with crypto payments.
In the same way that PayPal is known for providing buyer protection to customers, Utrust is going to offer payment protection and act as a third-party mediator if necessary. Because of Utrust's instant payment model they are able to allow the user to choose which crypto they want to pay with when making a purchase. Utrust aims to be a merchant plug-in API in a similar way to how PayPal functions. Utrust wants merchants or online websites to use their platform to begin to start accepting various crypto payments. Utrust will allow merchants to accept several cryptocurrencies at the same time. Also, Utrust will allow you to "pay with the UTRUST Token for instant discounts and improved purchasing power."
Since paying with the Utrust token on their platform will allow for less fees over time this should drive the value of the Utrust token up as the platform is used more and leave token holders with greater purchasing power. Utrust plans on releasing their test API for merchants soon. In the future Utrust plans on creating API integrations with Shopify and Woocommerce as well.

Yeah, that's the thing about ICOs these days. The projects are overhyped when they are on ICO. This is a strong project, so I'm surprised it has fallen so much, but so has the whole market.
This is normal in yelds cycle.
That after the higher risk - higher reward, comes reduction in yealds, but I suppose more quality projects will be coming into the space. That brings less risk, smaller profits, yelds.
Also the fact that more VC investors are investing bigger amounts into ICOs that retail investors - shows that the capitall attracting is changing. This is a positive sign in my opinion. As some of less experienced investors will not "burn" when the 80-90% of the projects will fail (I am sure this will happen sooner or later....).

Looks like they've been working on what that NYSE/ICE Microsoft/Starbucks platform are debuting. As amerchant, I'd rather give these little guys a shot myself before trusting that consortium. Will keep watch on their progress, and Re-Steemed.

Yeah I agree. I think Utrust is probably going to be more honest. It's an interesting company with a real problem that could be solved. I hope it's a good investment, but I think it will make for a good product at least.
I'm about as invested in crypto as I need to be right now. But I am in need of a good product, like you said, to both use and to recommend to others as a solid "accept crypto" payment service.

so many scammer out there..this is something needed. As a buyer I would prefer to use this than bitpay..At least there is a low probability of seller scamming. People only use fiat to pay online because there is some safety that comes from buyers protection..cryptos will have to go same way otherwise no one will take the risk and cryptos are not going mainstream@the4thmusketeer
I think one of the most important issue which Utrust can help resolving is the price volatility in cryptocurrencies. If cryptocurrencies has to establish itself as 'money' there has to be some medium which can smooth the sudden high and low of the prices.
We believe that we all want a Paypal alternative for cryptocurrency.
