Just last week, after segwit 2x was cancelled, we saw the correction of the bitcoin price from the highs of $7.7k to around almost $5.5k which is almost a 30% drop. And at the same, bitcoin cash was on a meteoric rise too before correcting itself back to around $1k (at this point of time). Understandably, the most likely possible reason would be the money shift from bitcoin to bitcoin cash.
But I am wondering what is the reason behind the shift back to bitcoin from bitcoin cash ? After all, we can see that the transaction fee can go up as high as $11 for bitcoin while it is still very low for bitcoin cash (around $0.20). Is it because the price reflected on exchange are not affected by the transaction fee ?
