Top 3 Bitcoin Dice Sites: Care To Try Your Luck?

in #bitcoin8 years ago (edited)

I was never one for gambling. For the longest time, I never understood the appeal of it. Why would I want to waste my money for no promise of a return on my investment? My grandma absolutely loved casinos, finding the joy in it where I could not. If she were still around I'd be so happy to tell her that I now understand why she had so much fun.

I'm still very leery where betting my own money is concerned, but what about Bitcoin? Between faucets you can build yourself quite a little money pot to use for gambling. The way I look at it, I didn't spend money to get those Bitcoins, so they're free game. And if you're patient, it can pay off.

There are many Bitcoin Casinos around, but I have never ventured into those sites. I find that the most fun betting Bitcoins comes in the form of betting on Dice. There are plenty of websites out there that will allow you to play for free; no deposit, no subscription. Those are the sites that I use and do pretty well on, as long as I'm smart about it. Below I'm going to outline a few of my favorite sites that I have had great luck with. Give them a try yourself, see if you can hit the Bitcoin Jackpot!

  • The first is Bitsler -- This one is by far my favorite right now. For one, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful in the chat, that's enough to get someone to stick around on its own, but wait... there's more!
    • The generosity that you'll find here will blow you away. There is a tipping and rain system that users utilize often. If you're active in chat you could be on the receiving end of some of that generosity.
    • There are games within the game! There are plenty of chat games that go on through the day. Anything from "Best Avatar" to "Bounty Roll" if you win, you can rake in some serious coin to bet with (or withdrawal, your choice).
    • The faucet is one of the highest I've seen. You start out with 1250 Satoshis from the faucet and it gradually increases as you bet more and level up. There is a limit to how many faucet claims you have each day (which also increases with levels), but it's fairly easy to take the faucet payout and turn it into a respectable bankroll.
  • Next is BetterBets -- Second runner up and has a very unique concept that you don't find on other dice sites.
    • Unlimited Faucet Claims. That's right! You read correctly. You can claim from their faucet every 5 minutes as much as you want. Each faucet payout is 200 Satoshis. It's a very easy way to build up a small safety net before you start your betting!
    • While it doesn't have the chat games or tips/rain that Bitsler has, it's still a very solid site, especially for the more solitary better that doesn't want to bother with a social aspect to their game.
    • It has a beautiful layout. Yes, I consider this a perk because it's just nice to look at. If you're going to spend a lot of time on a site, you want it to be easy on the eyes, right? Well BetterBets wins in that area. There are several layout color schemes to choose from and I think I've used all of them at least once. They're so nice to look at, I just can't choose one!
  • Finally there is PrimeDice
    • This one requires some thicker skin if you plan to chat. There aren't too many rules in chat so you will more than likely see some offensive things and words fly by. If you can get beyond that, the people really are nice. Occasionally there are games in chat and there is a tipping system, but not a rain system (I believe there used to be but it isn't currently compatible with the site's new layout).
    • The downside here is that the faucet leaves a lot to be desired. 200 Satoshis every 5 minutes, but you cannot claim unless your balance is 0. This can get frustrating, because it's much more difficult to build a solid bankroll with only 200 Satoshi, so you will end up busting a lot. That said, it is possible to go from the faucet to 50k Satoshis. I've done it, it's just not easy!

What do you think? Do you have what it takes to gamble a little Bitcoin? I have a blast and have met some great people while doing so. Give it a shot!
