I wrote of fake wallets using BTG yesterday, today BTG got added to Bittrex.
Bittrex wallets are open for deposits but do not try to arbitrage from exchange that even look good and have wallets open - they have issues.
Bittrex Market
Bittrex opened BTG today and loaded balances of everyone that had BTC on time. If you have BTG there - sell ASAP (its late anyways). But my post is not about BTG added to Bittrex its about fake arbitrage options.
HitBTC Market
HitBTC has wallets open since yesterday but today when pump came and it was possible to sell BTG on Bittrex for 0.06+ BTC and buy at 0.015+ BTC, the exchange stopped letting people withdrawal. Hard to say if they did it or the traffic killed it but after you buy, you wont be able to send and sell. Dont fall for it.
Binance Market
Binance has good price too, as they often follow Bittrex. But impossible to deposit - wallet is closed. Its just internal coins being traded.
BitFinex Market
Coins cannot be withdrawn, you have them only if you had BTC back then.
Solution
You can ONLY arbitrage if you have coins on all exchanges and buy and sell between your own holdings.

Good advice :)
Bitcoin Gold Scam this was understandable before the launch of the project
I gotta be honest. BGold has some interesting things it is trying to do with decentralization of mining, etc. Its execution has been terrible thus far. But I haven't really seen anyone trying to say this is the real Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Gold was never a good currency to began with, junk developers, corrupted money hungry people....just all around a bad idea. Not risking my wallets for a few hundred bucks...simply not worth it....
wow that is very insightful, great market research @kingscrown you have got yourself a new follower.
apparently its working for some people and not for others my friend made withdraw 10mins before me and his withdraw is done but mine isnt the blockchain is fine its just hitbtc doing its thing they always do this shit i wouldnt trust them ever again with something like this am happy on bittrex/binance
Not first time it happened to me with hitbtc done a transfer earlier went fine now got 2 stuck :(
Nice post.I learn many thing from your post.
good post man
Anytime i deposit any site i use BTC and when i withdraw money on steemit i use Litecoin...Thank You for kind info @kingscrown
How do you feel about the premining of 100k coins?
IMO the only thing BTGold has going for it is you can mine it with just about anything modern
Do you see any future with BTG?
Just got into trading cryptocurrencies and love it! Follow us if you love weed!

Okkkk sir I understand but thankfully I had not buy the btg but thanks your regular market update and suggestion to all of us what to do.
good ranking BTC, i like btc .
Good post for information. Tq.

Good heads up - my BTC balance was too small to be able to sell the BTG balance - will have to transfer some BTG in when the dust settles to sweep up the little bit
Nice. Thanks for the tip. Looks like it could be lucrative.
yes, If you know what you're doing
First red flag. The alleged inventor doesn't know what the heck anyone is talking about.
IS A good news
Atleast I will not try. Its better to stay safe
Thanks for the information.
Dear @kingscrown
Thank you for this information. I saw the dip and high today in hitbtc. Unfortunately they didnt allow anyone to withdraw out. This is one disadvantages of centralized exchanges.

Are you Jesus?😁😁😁
I thought there was a country where 75% of the people were named Jesus and 75% of the people were named Maria... Obviously they were bad in math because that totals up to 150% ;)
Exchange rate for bitcoin gold was almost 1 bitcoin at one point! But I cannot take advantage of it because HitBTC is refusing transfers due to some 'technical issue'. So my funds are stuck in processing. HitBTC sucks ass. And bitcoin gold is a crappy coin to begin with. I cannot even remember the number of scams committed since they announced it several weeks ago.
Last night I was tempted to buy BTG. I'm so happy I didn't :))

Thanks a lot, I knew something was up.
100% crash right there...
Looks like people who do not support BTG are dumping it, and they do it as fast as they find it in their wallets.
When the dump will finish, all supporters will stay, and "the real price" will be there. Then we can start talking about BTG.
Until then.... just relax, make coffee and enjoy that coffee.
The wallet on bittrex is functional, as of now.
Thanks for the information
Thanks for the information
btg not doing to bad,, sold weekend before the release @ +125% made a good profit before the slump
purchased more last tuesday at a very low price
today they are on the up will be cashing out soon
I sold that crapcoin for 120$ yesterday at HiBTC and will not touch it again.
HitBTC has constant issues with deposits and withdrawals for other coins too... I always retry for up to two working days and usually it works eventually. Their support team doesn't usually reply to tickets, but I always know it doesn't take more than 2 days before things start to work again. Usually it's a user error if resolving the issue takes more than 2 days.
agreed..and have the same things too..
Something tells me HitBTC gets high surge of traffic once in a while because even exchange page slows down when account page has issues. I know they can add more servers behind the scenes and that's why I usually just wait because we all know adding more servers take time and doesn't happen in blink of an eye.
opps and how about minergate? They are related
I use MinerGate on daily basis because it has good mobile app. MinerGate has some issues, their customer support is a joke, but things usually get resolved behind the scenes the same way as with HitBTC.
we r in the same direction, hope to get more about it to keep my feet still on it because sometime I feel like I want to discontinue mining there..my interest more to nicehash if everything doesn't work well for me at the MinerGate.
Dashcoin and Bytecoin in MinerGate are IMHO safe, AEON is pretty much bad idea due to high network fees. I tried most of the other coins, but the mining profit was too low. Bytecoin is about 8x more profitable than Dashcoin miningwise, but it's so much easier to trade Dashcoin atleast on HitBTC. I've thought of nicehash, but I don't have enough money yet to invest in it.
nice post..
Very good information
BTG is not a very good cryptocurrencie for the moment but the idea to mine with GPU was great
It's a shame
The idea to mine with GPU is horrifically poor. Asics are literally millions of times more efficient at the task. The resources wasted by the competition for bitcoin mining is consuming small countries worth of electricity. You think it's a good idea to increase that waste a thousandfold?
Yeah, people are not aware of the realities behind bitcoin or bitcoin gold.
Longer the blockchain becomes, higher the difficulty increases and that sums up to need for more powerful mining rigs. Only way to solve that is to start from fresh and do what Bitcore (BTX) did. What Bitcore did was bad for people with little amount of coins, but it will never be good for them when coin uses PoS instead of PoW. It doesn't require to be a rocket scientist to know that PoW only works when the coin is new and difficulty is still low.
Difficulty is according to mining competition, not the length of the blockchain. PoW is wasteful, any time there's competition. There's no getting around it.
I was oversimplifying... As in having more miners means faster increase in blockchain length as they are essentially mining blocks containing their own previous mining profits.
We all have read stories about very long alternative blockchains due to having too many miners and mining pools getting out of sync for extended period of time.
PoS is more wasteful for new users as it requires to have some coins in the first place, PoW doesn't have that requirement. What we need is third option that doesn't have the cons of the two existing ones.
Yes, I am so eager to trade BTG on Binance but unfortunately they have suspended deposits.
Thanks for the info. Cheers!!!
I am interested in your solution of arbitrage. Get coins on all exchanges. Buy from one and at the same time sell on another. But it takes time for them to get in your wallet. If I understand it correctly.
Use scaled orders when available. Otherwise set many sell or buy orders in steps... Lowest sell order needs to be set higher than highest buy order by 25% or more.
Hi kingscrown I realy like your job and I would like to translate your work in french if you are ok give me an answer?
This is fantastic news. Knowing we have a reliable place to buy, trade and sell BTG is reassuring when looking to invest. Thank you for this post.
Yea, it is too illiquid right now.
Ohhh boy, bit coin gold, as soon as I got mine I dumped it for real bitcoin, haha. Thanks for making me feel good about the decision KC!
Your post was mentioned in the hit parade in the following categories:Congratulations @kingscrown!
good advice :) I write articles about many different cryptocurrencies. I also update them on a regular basis. I just started but I am persistent. Maybe you can have a look if interested. Best of luck
noted bro, will follow you advice
Since they are not worth that much, I'll just leave my "free" BTG alone for now. Not worth the risk of doublespending to convert them into BTC imho. And who knows whether they'll take off some day.
SOmetimes I'm wondering How it appeared in some wallet which i don't have to mention it here to have some balance with BTG hmmm bonus perhaps?
