Hey guys
Well today was George’s 1st birthday!!! Yeap 1 year has passed since I became a dad. I will never forget the day the little man was born so much feelings that you can’t express and even harder to process. Everything that they are saying that your life change’s that day it’s all true but you don’t really understand it until later for some it’s a month for me it was 3 months. The first 3 months was a blur I can’t remember many things. Everything was new you Learn how to bathe a fragile little creature, how to change his diaper , how to comfort him when he is not feeling well , how to keep him warm how to comp him etc etc . But everything has a meaning and when you understand that meaning it’s the day that you realise you are a father. For me as I mentioned was Christmas of 2021 the little man got Covid from his grandpa 👴 and it was the first time I felt scared , unable to do something other than keep him in my arms and wait for him to get better while I give him all my love then I got Covid from him and stayed in quarantine for 10 days. Well it was perfect and that was when it hit me all that matters is to make time for him and try not to miss too much!!

Ohh 😮 I have my birthday on the 7 but the miss thought I have to celebrate with my son . Clearly she wanted to have two birds with one stone.

Thank you for sharing your joy with us @giotists! I have two children myself, 4 and 1 :) One is a truly magical age! Soak up as much of it as you can (I’m sure people tell you this all the time haha)!
It was sweet to hear your feelings about being a new father as well, it’s so relatable when you say the first 3 months were a blur…. Good news is if you have a 2nd child the beginning goes slower because you’re not learning constantly- at least in my experience :)
Yeap that’s what I think too. I will try to live everything now and learn for the second 😂😂😂
